A.U.Fire Enhances Training at Grand Central Station
December 12, 2024 — AUFIRE is honored to have been invited by the MTA Police to participate in a massive multi-agency active shooter training event at Grand Central Station in Manhattan. AUFIRE was able to take an already impressive training exercise to a higher level by inducing simulated injuries to responding officers in the midst of an active assault. It was a valuable eye opening experience for the participants as well as those who were managing the event. The lessons learned through the use of AUFIRE will be valuable in developing future training programs.
